Our 7th new location to visit in 2024 will be to Greater Anglia's Norwich Crown Point Depot which will take place on the 17th August. This visit is limited to 15 places. Tickets will go on sale at on the 29th July 2024 at 8pm in the members shop.
Tickets will be £24 each, with all profits going to Crown Point's designated charity.
The tours will start promptly at 10:00 with a Safety Briefing from the Lead Guide and the Rail Manager. Members should arrive 10 minutes beforehand. Car parking is available on site. Minimum age is 14 and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who agrees to take full responsibility for the young person. The tour is expected to take around 2 to 3 hours.
All visitors must wear the following equipment for safety: Safety boots are mandatory (NO TRAINERS). Orange Hi Vis Vest and Bump Cap. Both Greater Anglia and Rail Riders will be unable to provide this equipment. If you arrive and don't have the equipment listed then unfortunately you will be refused entry to the site.
The aim is to see as much of the rail site as possible, however Greater Anglia cannot guarantee access to any particular area or item of rolling stock during the tour as the site will be fully operational.
