Our 6th new location to visit in 2024 will be to Drax Power Station near Selby which will take place on the 12th July. This visit is limited to 30 places. Tickets will go on sale at on the 10th June 2024 at 8pm in the members shop.
Tickets will be £24 each, with all profits going to the Samaritans charity.
The tours will start promptly at 10am and 1pm of groups of 15 with a Safety Briefing from the Lead Guide and the Rail Manager. Members should arrive 10 minutes beforehand. Car parking is available on site. Minimum age is 14 and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who agrees to take full responsibility for the young person. The tour is expected to take around 2 hours.
All visitors have to make sure that their clothing covers arms and legs, NO Bare Ankles, Skirts or Shorts, Bare Arms, No Ripped clothing. Flat sturdy footwear that covers whole of the foot must be worn, NO Ballet shoes or heals. wear the following equipment for safety. If you arrive and don't have the equipment listed then unfortunately you will be refused entry to the site.
Photography is allowed for the most part and the Safety Briefing at the start will identify any areas where photography is not allowed. All photographs and video taken are for personal use only. We have permission for a group photo at the end of the tour for publicity.
