After many months of planning, we are pleased to announce Rail Riders will be having its very own Railway Show on the 10th & 11th June 2023 at the Crewe Heritage Centre, which will be open to both club members and the general public.

We plan to hold the Rail Riders Railway Show roughly the same time each year, however because this is a touring event it will be in a different location in 2024.

The weekend has been kindly sponsored by Railcam, Booklaw, Bishop Trains, Durham Trains Of Stanley & UK Departure Boards and will be a celebration of all things railways, from model trains up to full sized mainline locomotives.

The show concentrates on all things modern image from the early diesels and electrics right up to the modern railway of today. We have chosen the Crewe Heritage Centre site as this is the base of the Advance Passenger Train (APT) which of course features in our logo, and has excellent transport links plus is a partner of the club.

Over the two days we have a selection of traders (both model and non model), model railway manufactures and Layouts. We have arranged over the weekend for the North end APT vehicle to tilt and also have mainline locomotives (Subject to availability) from DB Cargo UK (66175 Rail Riders Express), DRS and another guest loco onsite.

Rail Riders members will gain a discount on the entrance tickets,
early entry, and also discounts from most of the trade stands. We have even arranged for some Rail Riders Beer for the weekend.

The Heritage Centre's North Junction Café will be open as well as visiting food and drinks vendors. We will be having a Tombola and Raffle stand which will have some great prizes, all money raised by this stand will be donated to the Samaritans

So why not come along and join us for the weekend. Tickets for the event will give you entry to the entire Heritage Centre and all their exhibits on display. A great mix of models versus the real thing. With an extensive display of rolling stock & railway memorabilia.
