Rail Riders are proud to announce The Gronk & The Growler 2 event in conjunction with the Telford Steam Railway.

This event will be the first chance for members of the general public to ride behind 37263 in preservation. Operating an hourly timetable with the resident class 08 on both Sat 21st and Sun 22nd of Aug starting at 10am, with the last train departing at 4pm.

Day Rover tickets will be available for £25 per person (no concessions), with single return journeys available for £10 per person.

All Tickets are available on the day from the railways gift shop in Spring Village and gates open at 9am.

Members of the Telford Horeshay Steam Trust and Rail Riders can enjoy a 20% Discount on tickets, as well as products from the Furnaces Tea Room at Horeshay & Dawley Station.

The Rail Riders team will be attending where you can join the club and then save on the ticket price.

Rail Riders members will also be entitled to 20% discount in the café and gift shop.

The Phoenix Model Engineering Society and Railway House Model Railway are open along with our Furnaces Tearoom.
